PRE TOUR

As always, we’re hoping to see many guests from outside of Finland, looking for new adventures, unforgettable experiences and exciting stories of friendship, collaboration and togetherness.

Especially for you, we have created a Back to the Future Pre-Tour Pack, filled with activities that will create lifetime memories that you can even pass on to the future you!

On Wednesday May 15th afternoon the super early arrivals will have a chance to explore the beautiful city of Helsinki under the guidance of some almost natives for few hours before taking the train north to Hämeenlinna, the core-location of the weekends celebration. The Pre-Pre-Tour in Helsinki is not an official part of the Pre-tour, but we will make sure you’ll enjoy it to the max.

Wednesday evening will start the official festivities with a get-together for international tablers and circlers in probably the most famous pub in our lovely “Hämpton”-city, with some food for the hungry ones, and beverages for the thirsty.

Thursday the 16th will start with a comfortable breakfast at the hotel, after which the Pre-Tourers visit the famous Iittala glass factory campus in the nearby town Iittala. The trip will include a lunch, followed by a possible visit to an exhibition on Naïve art and of course some time for souvenir shopping.

Thursday evening marks the beginning of AGM for Finns with a get-together downtown, so the bus back to the hotel is scheduled so that everyone gets a chance to refresh themselves.

On Friday there’s a sightseeing tour through the city of Hämeenlinna, including a visit to the medieval castle of Häme with a guided tour. More info on the castle here: https://www.kansallismuseo.fi/en/haemeenlinna/frontpage

After a well-deserved lunch, we’ll head back to the hotel to prepare for the festivities in the evening.
